Pavement Scooters are a class Two scooter designed for use on the pavement. They have a top speed of 4 MPH. Most pavement scooters can be dismantled into manageable pieces but the parts are heavier and bigger than those on portable scooters. Pavement scooters DO NOT require road tax and do not have to be registered with DVLA. It is not a legal requirement to insure pavement scooters but Mobility and Comfort strongly recommend taking out insurance cover.
